Holding up a sign that reads "not homeless, need boobs," Chrissy Lance of Rittman, Ohio, makes her intentions very clear: She's soliciting money for a boob job. "I see people panhandling every day, so why not panhandle for boobs," the 37-year-old Buckeye barmaid said. "It's original. I've never seen anybody do it." Lance, who is also a single mother and a college student, hopes to raise $5,000 for breast implant surgery to "help improve her self-esteem." Despite her unique strategy and skimpy attire, few Akron drivers have been willing to support Lance's boob fund: She's only made about 90 dollars so far. The single mom tells our affiliate WKYC, breast implants would really boost her self-esteem. She says she plans to keep going out in her bikini until she raises enough money. It might take a while though. When WKYC caught up with her last week, she only had $90. But, of course, that was before her efforts made national headlines. Lance seems to have thought this through, too. She tells WKYC, she got the required license to panhandle from Akron, so her street-side begging is legal.
