The two men who want to be the state's next lieutenant governor have agreed to debate each other.

Henry McMaster and state Representative Bakari Sellers will debate on October 16.
McMaster won a four-way Republican primary in June. The 67-year-old is a former state GOP chairman.
Sellers had no primary contest. The 29-year-old has represented rural Denmark for four terms.
Both candidates say they welcome a chance to show how they contrast.
