Description
Timelapse footage of total solar eclipse as seen from southern Illinois. This was shot as Raw stills from a Nikon D750 with a Nikkor 300mm f4 AF lens and cropped in 100% to 1080p. 16 stops of ND filtration was used during the partial eclipse. No filtration was used during totality. Focus is tack-sharp throughout. Exposure was controlled by Timelapse+ View Intervalometer using the Eclipse beta software. However, some digital manipulation had to be done to smooth out the necessary extreme exposure changes.
