Description
REEL: War Crimes Trials, Nuremberg, Germany, April 16, 1946. MS, LS, Alfred Rosenberg testifying. Later, when Dodd hands him a document and questions him regarding its contents, Rosenberg cites from the document, a statement to the same effect. MSs, Dodd quoting from the document which was written by Rosenberg. He answers a question with regard to his "administrative plan," which was discussed in a meeting between Hitler, Keitel, and some others and then talks about "Mythos of the 20th Century" that he wrote. Questioned as to his support for forcing people in the East to leave their homes and communities in order to go to Germany and work for the German state, he says that he fought for it to be a "call on a voluntary basis."
