1947, Palestine: A newsreel titled 'Terror grips Palestine' shows passports of Jews being checked as they leave the country for Europe (Great Britain and Austria). They board a train and wave goodbye. A ship carrying large number of Jewish (illegal) immigrants arrives at the coast of Palestine. They are denied entry and there is fighting with British soldiers. The injured are being carried away. People disembark from the ship and are transferred to other vessels for deportation to Cyprus. At the same time. there are terrorist attacks in Haifa, Palestine. Bomb blast occurs at British Officers Club in Haifa killing 16 people. Injured being carried out from a wrecked building by the soldiers. Suspects (Jewish extremists) being arrested and captives being searched for weapons. British soldiers patrol the streets as Martial Law is imposed in the city.
