Yemenis pick up brooms for unprecedented cleaning campaign "Sharik", the first and biggest cleaning campaign to take place in Yemen, was launched in the capital on Wednesday. With the slogan "My contribution builds Yemen", the youth-driven initiative may allow the country to enter the race to break a Guinness World Record for number of participants. Over 200,000 residents of Sanaa, students, partisan leaders, members of parliament and public and private sector workers took to the streets to contribute and help make the city cleaner.
