Santos, Latin America's biggest port, set to triple in 10 years The port of Santos in Sao Paulo state in southern Brazil is the biggest in Latin America. A quarter of Brazil’s foreign exchange trade comes through here. Now, it’s set to grow even further – with the inauguration of a new “Inter-oceanic Highway” that will link Santos on the Atlantic to Peruvian ports on the Pacific, via Bolivia.
