PLO member disappointed by Arab stance on land swaps Israel on Tuesday welcomed a shift in the terms of the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative following top-level talks in Washington, with the proposal now endorsing the idea of mutually-agreed land swaps with the Palestinians. PLO executive committee member Wassel Abu Yussef said the proposal fails to address the "heart of the problem," which is the "Israeli occupation." Images and soundbites
