Indigenous Aymara ceremonies for the Winter Solstice With arms raised to the sky, and despite the freezing temperatures, Bolivians welcomed on Friday the first rays of the sun (Inti Tata, in Aymara) in the Salar de Uyuni in southwest Bolivia.
