Description
Mexico: yoga classes to steer young offenders away from crime The number of violent crimes continue to rise in Mexico, with drug cartels mainly exporting cocaine to the United States. Between 2010 and 2011, drug cartels recruited between 15,000 and 25,000 minors, according to recent studies. Detention centers try to find new ways to reinsert young offenders into society. Fredy, a former drug dealer, teaches yoga to a dozen teenage offenders in a juvenile detention center, as part of a program to steer young criminals away from a life of crime. A natural sound version of an AFPTV report.
