Description
Rio starts building the Transolympic road On Saturday, there will be 1,000 days left until the opening ceremony of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. The Brazilian city started working on Friday on one of its biggest projects: the Transolympic road. 400,000 people are expected to use the road daily which will link two of the four Olympic sites between Deodoro and Barra da Tijuca. First step: dynamiting rocks for the future tunnel. Images.
