Paddington Bear statue trail launched in London The Paddington Trail was launched in London on Monday, featuring colourful statues of Paddington Bear. Celebrities including David Beckham, Emma Watson, Nicole Kidman and Benedict Cumberbatch came up with decorations for the statues, which will be auctioned to raise money for the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children). Actor Hugh Bonneville, internationally known for his role in the British TV series 'Downton Abbey', also designed one of the bears, and stars in a film based upon the character which will be released later this month.
