Yesh Atid campains two days before Israel's general election Supporters of Israeli MP and chairperson of centre-right Yesh Atid party, Yair Lapid, cheered him during his visit to the cities of Sderot and Ashdod two days before the country's general election. Final opinion polls suggest Lapid's party could take up to 12 places in the 120-seat Knesset (Parliament), which is a far cry from the 19 it took in 2013 when the newly-formed faction shot to prominence as Israel's second largest party, securing its leader a seat in the cabinet.
