S. Africa: thousands of blankets for 21 years of democracy The World Record for the most handmade blankets for a charitable event has been broken in Pretoria. The "67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day" project wove together thousands of knitted blankets to cover an area of 3133 square metres.
