Nigeria's presidential candidates sign accord to ensure peace Nigeria's presidential candidates, Goodluck Jonathan abd Muhammadu Buhari, have signed a peace accord to prevent violence before, during and after the general election on saturday. Fears are high of clashes between supporters of Jonathan's ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Buhari's All Progressives Congress (APC) after a tight election campaign.
