Hundreds under water in Gaza Parts of the Gaza Strip suffered serious flooding on Sunday. Israel has strongly denied allegations from Gazan civil defence officials that the flooding was caused by the release of waters from a dam on the Israeli side of the border. A spokesperson for Israel’s office of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (CoGAT) said the allegations were ‘completely false’.
