Iraqi security forces fight IS militants east of Ramadi In the rural town of Husayba, in the Euphrates Valley seven kilometres (4.5 miles) east of Ramadi, Iraqi security forces have been closing in on Islamic State (IS) group militants. IS had seized the Anbar province's capital in May after a three-day blitz involving dozens of huge truck bombs.
