NY’s Met Gallery shows off new Breuer building New York’s Metropolitan Gallery of Art on Tuesday showed off its new Breuer building, formerly home to the Whitney Museum of American Art. The new space will show Modern and Contemporary art in the context of the Met’s rich historical collection. Two major exhibitions will be on show when Met Breuer opens to the public on March 18th: a retrospective of work by Indian artist Nasreen Mohamedi; and a show bringing together incomplete works called ‘Unfinished: Thoughts Left Visible”.
