Hamadaniya university moves to Arbil with portable buildings Built in 2010, the Iraqi university of Hamadaniya used to be in Qaraqosh, in the Niniveh province. But after the region became under Islamic state control in 2014. Since then, the University moved to Arbil and was built with portable buildinds allowing 1600 peopleto keep studying, including 1200 displaced from Qaraqosh.
