Description
Heavy security at Uganda’s Electoral Commission Ugandan opposition leader, Kizza Besigye, has been taken from his home and brought to a police station, after he vowed to go to the Ugandan Electoral Commission and claim election materials which he says will prove Thursday’s presidential election was rigged. Mr Besigye was arrested four times last week, but has yet to be charged with a crime. Uganda’s top police officer has refused to confirm or deny whether Mr Besigye will now be charged.
