Brazil police raid Lula’s hotel in corruption probe Brazilian police performed a raid on the luxury hotel where former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is staying in the capital Brasilia early Tuesday morning. The operation, linked to the country's largest-ever corruption scandal, targeted construction firm Odebrecht, a police statement said without referring to Lula.
