Guatemalan youth use their fists against the grip of gangs On a narrow path of concrete leading to an impoverished neighbourhood of Guatemala City, children and teenagers learn to box, a sport that can rescue them from gangs. The program ‘Hoodlinks' set up by the Olympic Foundation of Guatemala (FUNOG), began in 2012 and brings together some 200 children and teenagers to practice around seven sports, including boxing.
