Stars on the red carpet in Uganda for Queen of Katwe premiere The premiere for the Disney film Queen of Katwe took place in Kampala, Uganda, where the film is based and was shot. Along with stars Lupita Nyong'o and David Oyelowo, the local cast of the film were present, many of whom were seeing the movie for the first time.
