Refugees pour into Uganda from South Sudan Refugees from South Sudan continue to pour over the border into neighbouring Uganda, as clashes continue between government SPLA forces and rebels loyal to former Vice President Riek Machar. Between 2,000-3,000 South Sudanese arrive in Uganda every day. On Wednesday, exchanges of fire between rebels and the South Sudanese army forced humanitarian workers to desert Uganda’s border point at Oraba, where most refugees now cross.
