Bassem Youssef, Egypt's Jon Stewart, on new life in US Egyptian heart surgeon-turned-comedian Bassem Youssef not so long ago hosted the most popular political satire show in his country's history. "Al Bernameg" (The Show) -- launched after former president Hosni Mubarak was ousted from power in the 2011 uprising -- drew as many as 30 million viewers per episode in a country of 82 million people. After leaving Egypt in 2014, Youssef has since settled in the Los Angeles, where a documentary chronicling his story entitled "Tickling Giants" premieres on Friday. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
