Stockshots of Cuba's national zoo Cuba’s National Zoo, with more than 1.300 animals, is committed to conserving its species by supporting 200 new arrivals each year. With these new residents, of all shapes and sizes, the zoo hopes to repopulate other animal enclosures across the entire country - a procedure which started after Namibia donated 144 animals to the zoo between 2012 and 2013.
