The world's Santas gather for their annual congress - in July Dozens of Santas, elves and Mary Claus from all over the world are in Denmark for the annual World Santa Claus Congress, a longstanding tradition since 1957. The santas meet in July, because of course, their schedules become much busier later in the year. The congress allows the Santas to debate the important issues for their community, be they health issues (Does Father Christmas need to lose weight?), aesthetic issues (yellow or red Christmas trees?) or timetable issues (Should Christmas eve fall on the 24th of December or ahead of Orthodox Christmas on the 6th of January?).
