'Panafest' reunites descendants of African slaves in Ghana The Pan African Historical Theatre Festival, also known as 'Panafest', started as a biennial event to highlight the evils of the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Twenty five years later, it has become known as an opportunity for members of the African diaspora to visit the continent.
