S.African lawmaker in court over assault Former deputy minister of Higher Education Mduduzi Manana appeared in the Randburg Magistrate's Court today where he plead guilty following the assault of two women in nightspot in Johannesburg in August. Manana initially claimed he was provoked, but later issued a statement admitting to the incident and resigned as deputy minister, but still remains a member of parliament.
