Workers at railcar maker Gosa protest outside Serbian government Qualified, cheap and little protected by law -- Serbian workers have everything to please foreign multinationals. But discontent is growing among employees of such companies in the Balkan country, a candidate for European Union membership. Unpaid and on strike for months, workers at the foreign-owned Gosa factory, which produces railway carriages about 80 kilometres (50 miles) from Belgrade, protested in late August outside the government. Their action followed a three-week strike at a Fiat plant in the summer. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
