Syrian familiy flees fighting in Idlib to Turkey border A Syrian family has sought shelter in in a small camp along the Turkey-Syria border after fleeing their home village in southeastern Idlib province, which has seen heavy fighting between Syrian regime forces and jihadists and rebel groups in recent weeks. The family fled their village near the Sinjar area of Idlib in early January, and fashioned a makeshift home in the Kalabeed camp for them and their children; they're among the 200,000 people that have been displaced by fighting in northwestern Syria since mid-December according to the UN.
