Thousands gather in Moscow church on Orthodox Christmas Eve Several thousand people gather inside Moscow's Christ the Saviour Cathedral on Orthodox Christmas Eve, January 6th. Led by the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church, Kirill, the procession celebrated on of the most important Christian events, the Nativity of Christ.
