Russian author D. Glukhovski denounces nostalgia for the USSR The 2018 Paris Book Fair welcomes Russia as its country honor. Dmitry Glukhovski, an internationally known science-fiction author whose work has been translated in 37 languages, attended the event on Saturday. To him, literature still embodies a "space of relative freedom" in modern Russia.
