Paris holds retrospective on American Impressionist Cassatt The only American artist to have exhibited her work with the Impressionists in Paris, Mary Cassatt (1844-1926) is finally getting a restrospective in the country she called home most of her life. The exhibit, which features fifty of the artist's works, notably her mother-and-child paintings, fittingly kicks off on the heels of International Women's Day and will run through 23 July 2018.
