Description
The resurrection of Belgian singer Jacques Brel's sailboat After two years of exploring the seas, famous Belgian singer Jacques Brel's sailboat "Askoy II" finished silted on a wild beach in New Zealand. But 14 years later the Wittevrongel brothers, passionate about the singer, decided it was time to give the ship its former splendour. With a handful of volunteers, they are currently carrying out restoration work in the port of Zeebrugge, from where they hope to put the ship back into open water in April 2019. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
