Paris opens retrospective on Indian art superstar Subodh Gupta Dubbed the "Damien Hirst of Delhi," Subodh Gupta is known for his giant installations, love of stainless steel and use of everyday objects that are ubiquitous throughout India. It's no surprise then that France is finally paying attention, opening the country's first restrospective on his 20-some year career at the Monnaie de Paris, which runs from April 13 to August 26.
