Cannes: 'Yomeddine' shows different side of Egypt, says director Egyptian director Abu Bakr Shawky presents his new film 'Yomeddine' at the Cannes Film Festival, alongside his wife and producer Dina Emam. The film is in the running for the Palme d'Or and tells the tale of a Coptic leper and his orphaned apprentice leaving the confines of their colony for the first time and embarking on a journey across Egypt to search for what is left of their families.
