'Quds Day' rally takes place in Lebanon's Maroun al-Ras People in southern Lebanon near the border with Israel attend a rally marking "Quds (Jerusalem) Day," an annual day of protest against Israel first initiated by Iran in 1979 to fall on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.
