Description
New graphic novel tackles the conflict in DRC's Kivu region Ongoing terror in the region of Kivu in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo has inspired French writer Jean Van Hamme and illustrator Christophe Simon to elaborate a vivid comic strip, denouncing the region's forgotten-war and the suffering of its people. DRC is preparing to hold a presidential election in December but has never had a peaceful transition of power since gaining independence from Belgium in 1960. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
