Taiwan navy adds two new warships as China tensions grow Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen presides over the commissioning of two US Perry class warships. Renamed “Ming Chuan” and “Feng Chia”, the two upgraded frigates will be deployed to patrol the Taiwan Strait.
