Malawi vice president expresses hope for brighter future Speaking exclusively to AFP, Malawian Vice President Saulos Chilima reveals some of his concerns about the state of politics in Malawi, with elections on the horizon in 2019. He expresses hope for a brighter future in the country, in which citizens can be genuinely happy with leaders who "respect the rule of law." He also argues that Malawi should have fewer candidates running for election.
