Description
Tunisia: results of investigation after ship collision The Director General of Maritime Transport and Ports in Tunisia presents an investigation report showing that the collision between a Tunisian ship and a Cypriot container ship that caused an oil spill off the coast of Corsica in October was due to a series of human errors. The accident occurred when the Tunisian freighter Ulysse slammed into the Cyprus-based Virginia anchored about 30 kilometres (20 miles) off the northern tip of the French island of Corsica.
