Tunisian play takes a stand on illegal immigration The United Nations migration agency, IOM, is using theatre to raise awareness about migration. "Le Radeau" (the raft) by Cyrine Gannoun and Majdi Boumatar, is co-ordinated by the IOM and offers the Tunisian public the opportunity to reflect on migration through art. The audience is invited to participate in the stormy journey of eight migrants whose sole objective is to reach Italy to start a new life, and focuses on their humanity.
