Two actresses call for for a #MeToo movement in African cinema Inspired by the #MeToo movement, two actresses, Nadège Beausson-Diagne of France and Azata Soro of Burkina Faso, are calling for a similar movement in the African cinema industry. Speaking while at the Panafrican Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou, the actresses cited their own experiences of harassment and sexual aggression while working in the industry. They hope the '#Memepaspeur' movement will spark more open conversation about the issues. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES of Nadège Beausson-Diagne and Azata Soro
