Jailed woman's husband reacts to Iran prisoner swap offer Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe's husband, Richard Ratcliffe, says he is 'blindsided' by suggestion of a prisoner swap for the British-Iranian mother being held in Tehran. Britain has been trying unsuccessfully to free Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, a dual national who worked for the Thomson Reuters Foundation and was arrested in 2016. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has suggested a swap between Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, who is in jail in Tehran for alleged sedition, and Negar Ghodskani, an Iranian woman held in Australia on a US extradition warrant.
