Description
Maimed protesters question French police methods (4/5) Since April 28, 2016, Jean-François Martin's life hasn't been the same. The 23-year-old was at a protest against French labour reforms in Rennes when he says he was hit by a rubber bullet from a so-called defence ball launcher, or LBD, which shoots 40mm rubber rounds. He was blinded in one eye. Today, Jean-François is calling on police to stop using riot control weapons and wants a ban on the LBD.
