Contest judging most beautiful call to prayer in Kyrgyzstan Muezzins from all over ex-Soviet Kyrgyzstan gather at the country's largest mosque in the capital Bishkek to compete in a contest judging the most beautiful azan, or call to prayer. A total of 27 muezzins competed in the contest which was won by Abdumalik Tashmatov, a muezzin from the cold and mountainous province of Naryn.
