French FM Le Drian visits Chernobyl on Ukraine visit The head of French diplomacy, Foreign minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, visits the site of the worst nuclear accident in history at Chernobyl on the sidelines of a multi-day visit to Ukraine. The containment dome, financed by the international community and intended to ensure the site's safety for the next 100 years, was designed and built by Novarka, a joint venture of the French companies Bouygues and Vinci.
