Boni Yayi's lawyers warn of potential unrest escalation in Benin The lawyers of former president Thomas Boni Yayi warn that if the unrest in the country continues "don't be surprised that in the 4th week they give themselves a leader". The warning comes as Benin security forces killed two protesters in the city of Save while breaking up a demonstration by people who demand the lifting of a police cordon around Boni Yayi's house in the country's economic capital Cotonou.
