Ukraine's new president visits troubled Mariupol New Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky makes his first official visit to the major trading port city of Mariupol, where he observes joint military exercises in the Sea of Azov. His visit comes as the city which is about 20 kilometres (12 miles) from the frontline of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, which was seized by Russian-backed separatists, celebrates the fifth anniversary of it's liberation from the rebels.
